Onion1 medium, finely chopped
Passata400ml
Herbes de Provence1 tsp
Short pasta (e.g., rigatoni or penne)250g
Olive oil1 tbsp
Parmesan (optional, for garnish)to taste

Finely chop the saucisson. Add the saucisson to a pan and sauté until slightly browned. Add onions and continue to sauté until softened. Stir in the passata and let it simmer until the sauce thickens. Finish by stirring in herbes de Provence before serving.
